Are you based in the UK?

Yes we are very much in the UK.  Simplyrugs.net are based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.  We are a very old established family firm and have been in the flooring industry for over 20 years. Our warehouse provides the flooring for many retail  flooring companies, so when you shop with us, you cut out the middle man, and are able to take benefit from our great selection of rugs.  We can also supply any type of flooring including carpets, laminates, vinyls and underlay on www.simplyflooring.net - at the same 'cut out the middle man' great prices.

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes, they do.  All simplyrugs.net prices INCLUDE 20% VAT in the price you see - which makes them even better value when you compare them with other online rug stores or high street shops.  Please be aware that other online rug companies sometimes show their prices without the VAT and then add it on at the end of your purchase. We like to make sure that you know what you are paying, right from the start.

Can I see your rugs in a retail shop?

If you are in the county of Yorkshire, then we have several of our own retail outlets that you could visit. Contact us with your postcode and we will advise where the closest outlet is. Alternatively, we have a factory shop here at Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Unfortunately though, the choice may not be as good as our online shop as we are able to show so much more online that in our shops.

How do I pay for my Item?

You can pay safely and securely via our website using our payment providers Sagepay and also Paypal. Two of the most secure payment providers in the world. You can also pay over the phone if you prefer.  We are very trustworthy, and never ever write anything down with regards to your secure payment details.  Once your payment details have been keyed straight into the card machine, then your card numbers are gone from us completely.

Do you accept Cheques? :

We can accept cheques, but we would not be able to process or dispatch your items until the cheque had cleared, usually 7 working days from date of receipt.  You would need to place your order online as usual so that there is a record of the order and then contact us to confirm your wish to pay by this alternative method.

Are Items always in stock? :

The majority of the rugs in www.simplyrugs.net  are always in stock.  We are part of a group which includes our own wholesale warehouse.  However, if an item is out of stock or to be ordered, you would be contacted within 24 working hours to advise you of the situation.

Can I get next day delivery and is there an extra charge for this? :

Next day delivery is very possible, as long as the item is in stock, and you have ordered before 10am on that day (this must be a working day). Any orders taken on a Friday after 10am, Saturday, Sunday or a Bank Holiday will not be dispatched until the next working day, which would mean the delivery would be 24 hours after the dispatch. i.e. Order after 10am on a Friday, Dispatch on the Monday Delivery on the Tuesday.  If it is a bank holiday weekend, then everything would move on a day or two depending on how many bank holidays.

And the good news is that there is no extra charge for next day delivery. We would of course have to ensure that the rug was in stock.  We tend to find that most of our dispatched rugs are within a 24 - 48 hour period.

Can I get delivery for a certain time i.e. in the morning?

Yes. You can choose between two delivery times and even Saturdays but there are extra charges involved to do this.  Please choose these alternatives on your delivery options when placing your order.

I want delivery for a certain day - can this be arranged?

Yes.  Place your order and then give us a call on 01924 438334 or we will call you on receipt of your order to arrange. If you are going to be away for a while but want to make sure that your order is in place, we will just hold on to your goods until you let us know you are ok to receive them - no charge for the storage either.

Can I have my order sent to a different address?

We do not allow you to organise this online as it is important that we speak to you first. This is really just to try to outfox those pesky fraudsters, and to safeguard not only our products, but your payment details as well.  We would hate for someone to get away with something they shouldn't, and we have all sorts of  ways to ensure that this doesn't happen on our watch.

I am ordering a couple of rolls of flooring at the same time as a rug through www.simplyflooring.net - If its coming from the same place, why do I have to pay twice for delivery?

Well, you might not have to ..... Rugs and carpets are different accounts due to their size and weight different.  All our deliveries are made by couriers, they are not made by ourselves.  Our couriers have very specific health and safety guidelines as to what can and can't be sent as one item due to its bulk, weight and size.  Therefore one average roll of flooring - i.e. 6 m x 4m  up to 30kg in weight represents one delivery cost. However - If your order consists of two smaller items we may be able to roll them together as one delivery, with the rug in the middle - it would just be a bit more than one delivery obviously to balance out the weight/cost - Please contact us before you place your order and we will confirm this, or go ahead and place your order and then give us a call.  If we can combine the p & p we will immediately organise a refund for you.  In some cases such as laminates, real wood and underlay you have the option to purchase twin packs, which means one delivery price for two items. Another great way of making value out of the delivery charge. Our own brand underlay is actually free delivery too.

Can I return my rug if I don't like it?

Absolutely.  We have all bought something online and then realised that it was either a spur of the moment decision, or the colour is completely wrong, or it just doesn't suit our requirements once its in place.  It really isn't a problem to return anything at all.  We just need to know within 7 working days by e.mail please.  You can let us know through Your Account.  You will need to return the item safely, securely and very well wrapped using a professional courier company, post office or you can even drop it off yourself, as long as its trackable.  Once the rug is back with us and has been checked to make sure that it is in the same condition as we sent it, we can organise a full refund for you.  Please be aware though that any return costs are your responsibility and we do not refund these.

Can I speak to someone?

Yes, our offices are manned Monday through to Friday 9 - 5pm, and also Saturday mornings 9 - 12 noon.  Call us on 01924 438334.  There is also an answerphone if we aren't here to speak to you out of hours.  Its a bit of a long hello message though because we have so many companies and we don't want to miss any out, but hang in there, and leave your message afterwards.  Please leave it clearly though,  as the answermachine is a bit crackly.
